The ONEHEALTH AI Accelerator is a nine-month programme for SMEs in Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland that want to develop and grow AI-enabled products and processes.
Rather than exploring AI in theory, the programme focuses on practical delivery – helping participating SMEs build, test, refine and validate AI approaches around real business needs.
What can your SME expect?
Through the Accelerator, participating businesses will have access to:
· Hands-on AI engineering and innovation management support from ONEHEALTH delivery partners
· A practical programme focused on building, testing, refining and validating AI approaches aligned with your business goals
· Expert technical and innovation input to connect AI solutions with commercial strategy and real-world outcomes
· Cross-border expertise from academic and engineering teams across Northern Ireland and Ireland
· Opportunities to connect with a wider ecosystem spanning industry, research and innovation communities across the island of Ireland

We’re looking for SMEs that are registered and operating in Northern Ireland or the border counties of Ireland, have a clear business challenge or opportunity where AI can add value, already have access to the relevant data needed to develop or test a solution, and can commit time and leadership throughout the nine-month programme.

The AI Accelerator is part of ONEHEALTH, a cross-border initiative bringing together research, industry and technology partners to drive practical innovation across human, animal and environmental health.
ONEHEALTH is led by Catalyst and is a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
